While further instruction and assistance will be provided upon contact,
the following outlines the elements necessary to have your community
become a SEND community:
A Regional Director is needed to:
- oversee the functioning of SEND within their community,
- coordinate operation with SEND's Executive Directors and,
- ensure long-term success of SEND within their community
Their initial responsibilities include:
- gaining the support of all soccer leagues within the community
- gaining support of the community's school system
- setting up an infrastructure of SEND receptacles (provided by SEND)
- nominating school delegates to help manage donated equipment
Directors can count on support from:
- school & soccer league administration
- local school delegates
- volunteers
Long-term success requires:
- continued marketing & promotion
- maintenance of SEND's infrastructure
- preservation of SEND's partnerships
